Abstract

German Antifascist Militants in the International Brigades’ Medical Corps during the Spanish Civil War, 1936 - 1939

During the Spanish Civil War tens of thousands of Antifascist foreign volunteers rushed to Spain for defending the Republic. Many of them served in the Medical Corps of the International Brigades. The Author, after a survey about such Corps, studies in detail the German volunteers’ participation in it, which was of paramount importance along all the war’s duration.
